AV Technician

The role

You will join AYNO’s technical team in Rome and follow Audio Video and Collaboration projects from installation through commissioning and support. Working with Project Managers, designers and specialists, you will help deliver systems that are cleanly executed, stable and easy to use, while becoming a trusted technical point of contact for customers.

What you will do

• Install and configure professional AV systems for meeting rooms, boardrooms, auditoriums and corporate spaces.
• Commission displays, video systems, cameras, microphones, loudspeakers, DSPs, control systems and videoconferencing room systems.
• Handle cabling, racks, connectivity, signal verification and functional testing with accuracy and method.
• Take part in commissioning and final configuration checks with the project team.
• Diagnose issues and troubleshoot systems on customer sites, remotely and during support activities.
• Document interventions and share useful technical information with the team to maintain service quality and continuity.

What we are looking for

• Hands-on experience installing or supporting Audio Video, videoconferencing, collaboration or related technology systems.
• Strong practical skills, accuracy and the ability to read technical drawings and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of IP networks, Windows systems and connected devices.
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to stay methodical during complex operational activities.
• A collaborative attitude and professional customer-facing communication.
• Good technical English and availability to travel according to project requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms or Cisco Webex Rooms.
• Knowledge of audio DSP, control systems, AV over IP or LED/videowall technologies.
• AV/UC vendor certifications or previous experience with a system integrator.
